Description

Inhibits JMJD2 histone demethylases (JMJD2 IC50 = 920 nM). Represses the expression of viral (HCMV and HSV-1) immediate early genes (IC50 ~ 10 M) and abrogates infection. Represses the reactivation of HSV from the latent state in sensory neurons (ref 1). Cell permeable.
