Immunogen
This HMGA1 antibody was raised against a peptide corresponding to the N-terminus of human HMGA1.
Buffer
Rabbit serum containing 30% glycerol and 0.035% sodium azide. Sodium azide is highly toxic.
HMGA1 antibody tested by immunofluorescence.
Detection of HMGA1 by immunofluorescence. HeLa cells were stained with HMGA1 antibody at a dilution of 1:1,000. Top panel: HMGA1 antibody staining. Middle panel: DAPI. Bottom panel: merge.
HMGA1 antibody tested by Western blot.
HeLa nuclear extract (20 µg per lane) was probed with HMGA1 pAb (1:500 dilution). Lane 1: no treatment.
Background
High mobility group (HMG) proteins are nuclear proteins that may significantly affect DNA interactions by altering double-stranded DNA structure. HMGA1 is frequently acetylated and is found in the nucleus.
Positive Control
Active Motif's HeLa nuclear extract (Catalog No. 36010) can be used as a positive control for HMGA1 antibody.
Storage
Some products may be shipped at room temperature. This will not affect their stability or performance. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles by aliquoting items into single-use fractions for storage at -20°C for up to 2 years. Keep all reagents on ice when not in storage.
Guarantee
This product is guaranteed for 12 months from date of receipt.
